After months of waiting we finally received the go ahead from Seminole County to demolish our old Community Center. Keep watching this site for our construction progress!

It's GONE !!!!

The Demolition of the existing building to make way for the new Clubhouse has caused some problems with our planning.  Because we were led to believe that the existing electrical main service and distribution panel would not require any changes, we believed these could remain active and the tennis court lights (3-7) could remain operational.

In reality, in order to demolish any building on property in Seminole County the electrical service must be terminated, hence, no power for the court lights.  Progress Energy informed SOHA when the service was terminated that an inspection is required before they can enable the reconnect and that our current meter and distribution panel will not pass this inspection.  We are in the process of obtaining bids to update the main service to the property and bring it into compliance with code.  We do not have a date when this will be completed because the update to the electrical components may require that the walls of the new building be complete.
